This position will be pivotal in driving the business’s long-term technical direction, ensuring its products, processes, and people remain at the forefront of quality, performance, and certification standards.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, managing new product development, testing and approvals and technical support across all customer channels.

Oversee certification and approvals to ensure products meet relevant building standards and performance benchmarks.
Drive the full lifecycle of New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through to commercial launch.
Collaborate with marketing teams to produce accurate, engaging technical collateral and data sheets.

Governance & Compliance
Ensure technical files, certifications, and supporting documentation are compliant, accurate, and audit-ready.
Maintain oversight of raw materials, processes, and quality systems to guarantee traceability and consistency.
Monitor changes in building regulations, test standards, and best practice guidelines.
Act as a senior technical representative of the business at both internal and external levels.

Leadership & Reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop a technical team through structured reviews and performance planning.
Manage technical budgets and resources to achieve departmental goals.
Provide monthly reporting on projects, compliance activity, and innovation progress to the senior management team.
