You will play a crucial role in the business’s ambitious growth plans targeting Contractors/Sub Contractors & A&D to secure project sales to drive through their distribution partners.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The position of Area Sales Manager is part of an extensive growth strategy and will play a key role in developing and supporting growth across all sectors, whilst applying a focus within office and education verticals. The purpose of the role is to generate Design & Build / Value Engineering project opportunities through main/sub-contractors operating within the new build & fit-out sector and convert specification projects into orders. The contractor focus will be in part via their new distribution channel partners, supporting their internal & external sales teams to drive increased project activity and OTC sales through a collaborative approach to target accounts. Additionally, you will incrementally increase your focus within their client base of architects/interior designers with a view to gaining further project specifications.

LOCATION: Field sales role covering the London & the South East we welcome candidates commutable to London ideally living in London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent or Essex.
CANDIDATE: We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in the building product sector ideally you will be from relatable product backgrounds such as ceilings, acoustics, insulation, drylining, flooring, panelling or cladding. This role would suit an external sales professional with experience dealing with contractors and distributors looking to progress into a more project-based role or someone who already has some specification sales experience that is adaptable to dealing with projects from cradle to grave. The ideal candidate possesses a hunter mentality, excelling in initiating contact with prospects and guiding them through the sales process with confidence.. A goal-oriented mindset, coupled with honesty and integrity, are paramount for success in this role. Package
PACKAGE: £50k - £65k basic + 25% bonus. Plus, company car or attractive car allowance at £7200p.a. Contributory pension scheme at 5%, health insurance, 28 days (3 for Christmas) holiday + BH and other ‘tools for the job’.
